My Boat is So Small

“Oh, God, Thy sea is so great and my boat is so small.”              Breton Fisherman’s Prayer

This past week has been challenging and the waves just keep coming.  Sometimes I feel that I’m bailing out as fast as I can, and other times I think my little vessel will be swamped.

Then, just as I was writing this, I remembered:

“Even the wind and the waves obey Him.”

                                                                   Luke 8:25

Hang in there, Holly. He will help you, even if it doesn't look like it at the time!!

Your boat will be fine...in the end! Keep trusting...hang on.

I think you should do like Peter, and jump out of the boat! But since I don't know your metaphor, that could be really bad advice....

Oh, Hollace! Yes, do hang on. And don't take Lindsay's advice without thinking it through.~

I'm finally on my other computer so I can comment. Took a few minutes and enjoyed some of your past posts again. They have been very enjoyable.

I'm not blogging yet, but just wanted to say "HI". Sometimes we sure learn more about HIM when we are in the storm of life. God bless.

Lovely quote. Know how you feel... Thankfully God is much bigger than we are, and He is always in control, no matter how rough the water feels.
