12-07-21-07-22-46H12-07-21-07-07-44H12-07-21-07-18-41H

12-07-19-18-09-01H

I brought books to read that I didn’t open12-07-22-10-59-14H

Magazines to catch up on that I didn’t flip through

Journal to write in whose pages remain blank

Sketch books for sketches that I didn’t do

Suntan lotion I didn’t need

12-07-20-10-49-26H

CD’s I didn’t listen to

Wine I didn’t open

Food I didn’t cook

But I did see dory boats going in and out at the cape

12-07-20-07-56-23H12-07-20-08-30-32H12-07-20-08-33-41H

And I talked to a kayaking ocean fisherman

12-07-20-08-09-58H

12-07-20-08-34-18H12-07-20-08-34-58H12-07-20-08-35-12H12-07-20-08-35-49H12-07-20-08-35-59H12-07-20-08-36-50H

I saw a nesting peregrine falcon

12-07-21-11-38-49H

and pigeon guillemots paddling red feet in the ocean

12-07-21-11-35-58H

I viewed the coastline from a hang glider’s overlook

12-07-19-18-19-34H

12-07-21-10-56-47H

Watched children, parents and grandparents playing at Oceanside

12-07-21-11-18-08H12-07-21-11-18-14H

12-07-21-10-34-41H

I bought baskets of cherries, berries & beans at a farmers market

12-07-21-12-13-49H

And ate an ice cream cone at the Tillamook Cheese Factory

12-07-21-13-32-46H

I heard children shrieking with summer joy in the river

12-07-21-14-29-42H12-07-21-14-31-31H

And saw fields of blooming purple and blue hydrangeas

12-07-21-14-27-04H12-07-21-14-27-15H

I saw black and white Holstein  cows looking at me

12-07-21-14-28-03R12-07-21-14-17-13H12-07-21-14-19-53H

I saw the flash of lightning

And went to sleep under the roll of thunder

12-07-20-11-08-47R

I heard the crackle and snap of our campfire 12-07-21-22-04-43R12-07-21-22-31-02H

And smelled wood smoke hovering over the campground12-07-21-07-02-39H

12-07-21-07-06-44H

I heard the daytime scoldings of parents

And nighttime murmurings of voices around the campfires

I walked in the sand

12-07-19-20-46-31R

12-07-19-20-50-38R

12-07-20-11-10-56H12-07-20-11-18-33H

I napped in the sun

and I woke  refreshed

I was very busy and came home

Fully rested.

Looks a fantastic place, even if it looks a bit chilly at times! You do live in a beautiful part of the world - I'm envious! And they are great photos!
